What is the difference between the UV and the green laser crystal printer?
Nowadays, there is a new UV inner engraving machine coming out. I learned that there are many people who are interested in it. But they are not very familiar with it. So I would like to give a short post to share more information about this kind of UV laser.
The UV inner engraving machine is not a new technical in the market. We used to see some companies lurching this machine, but they seem to disappear these days. Now this machine seems to come out again. We have also tried to study a UV machine before. So we have a certain knowledge of it.
Those considering starting a crystal 3D business must have some knowledge of the green laser machine. And if you have learned from some store in the shopping mall, you must have seen our machine.
Let me tell you what's the difference.
Ø 1.The UV laser has smaller dots. If the UV laser is not powered enough, it will take a long time to engrave a crystal, about half an hour. It is like writing something on paper with a pen that doesn't have enough ink.
Ø 2. The attenuation of the UV laser is relatively large. If the light has a longer path, its energy will decay to the point where it cannot work. So the UV laser inner engraving machine can't have a large work size without a movable platform. Sometimes the marking area does not mean the inner printing area for the same machine.
Ø 3. Sometimes, the UV laser will make the white image a little yellow, not so pure. In other words, it is not beautiful.
Ø 4. SATEY! The current 3D crystal UV laser machine doesn't have a protective shell. You know that the laser may not have much effect on the body, but it actually will have much damage to the eyes. You know that, the crystal can reflect much light out. If you look directly at the laser when engraving for a while, you will feel your eyes are dry. We usually suggest our customers close the door when engraving. If we need to open the door to check something, we will suggest the customer wear our protective glasses.
Ø 5. This machine doesn't have many users. This means if you have some questions about the machine, the supplier doesn't have the experience to help you fix it soon. Also, this machine seems to already have many resellers in the market. So it may take you some time to find a real factory, buy from them, and ask for good technical support.
This is the knowledge that I think you should know about the UV inner engraving machine if you are confused with them. If you are considering beginning your business, please be careful, I believe you are not buying for your hobby.
