Types of crystal
Natural crystal: It is a crystal formed by the movement of the earth's crust in nature. It is a kind of mineral with limited production.
Synthetic crystal: Synthetic crystal is a crystal made by artificial methods. Its chemical composition is the same as that of natural crystals, but the formation process is controlled by humans.
Melted crystal: Melted crystal is made by melting glass or other materials at high temperatures and then cooling and solidifying.
Processed crystal: Processed crystal refers to a crystal that has been artificially treated to change its color, transparency, or appearance.
What we usually use for the laser engraving machine is ‘Melted crystal’. For a more detailed breakdown, what you need is K9 crystal, which is also a kind of optical glass.
